I'm planning a USA road trip in which I will explore the South West and the Pacific North West. Basically my plan is to go north from Los Angeles to Oregon and Washington, then once I have thoroughly explored this area I will go south to the south west desert and explore Nevada, Utah, Arizona and Colorado. After this I will go home and I will not be allowed into the USA again for the rest of my life. Don't ask.

What places would you most recommend seeing? I will be camping as much as possible and trying to see as many national parks as I can.
