>>1591322>RedpillFirst off, drop the /pol/ act. We're sc/out/s, not Nazi larpers.
Now let me tell you about the wonders of National Forest land. National Forests are designated forest land in the US. They don't fall under the National Park Service (NPS), and have significantly different rules and regulations.
For starters, in the National Parks, hunting is almost always illegal, and there are rules and regulations about where you can camp, whether or not you can fish in certain water ways, and more often than not there are well defined, well developed trails.
National forests operate a fair bit differently. They fall under the National Forest Service (NFS), a division of the Department of Agriculture. They may or may not have seasonal hunting, and are often times available for logging. Trails, if there are any, are often less defined than their park counterparts. The exception to this is forest management trails and roads that run between logging camps, and fire break trails.
This makes NFS land more fun for a dedicated sc/out/ than NPS land, however there is plenty of fun to be had in both, especially off season. My recommendation (as a random guy on 4chan) is to start with parks, move onto forest land after you're feeling pretty comfortable /out/.
