Hey /out/ists, I'm a retarded newfag, and I beseech ye for your wisdom. I've lurked a little bit after moving to a more forested region of the U.S., and I'm highly interested in doing more camping. I've flipped through a couple books and watched some TY videos on the subject, but what is some real life need-to-know information? I'm searching for advice on essential gear, sanitation advice, how to protect myself from cold or heat, anything you guys are willing to tell me, I'm ready to listen.
