hello /out/ in the next few years I plan on attempting to move to Alaska (preferably around the interior closer to Fairbanks). I've visited before and fucking loved it, I'm aware of high cost of living and so am planning on mostly growing/fishing/hunting for my own food. I do have questions though, like what are good jobs to have there and how much are you looking at to buy a good piece of land. I'm not an American citizen so I won't be able to get a government job for a while when I'm there, however once I do I was looking at working for the NPS. Also any other tips for living there or places with similar environments are appreciated.
