i used to wear a smaller one. Jansport. Mainly used it for MB riding and sometimes on short day hikes

I also used to wear cargo pants/shorts for same purpose and activities but fuck i am so sick of having pockets full of shit hanging on my legs, rubbing against me or banging on my thighs

at least with a fanny pack or a backpack its all in one location and to me more comfortable to manage over extended periods of physical activity
