Pretty good right now. Mid to low 60s, and the sun came out today. My favorite time to go hiking. It's cool enough that even when you warm up from the hike, you aren't sweating.
>>1596131I think it's genetic or something. I kind of feel the same way when people start complaining about the "cold", even though it's still above 0. But I honestly can't deal with exerting myself when it's above 85 or so, my body refuses to sweat until well after I'm overheating and miserable. It's not a hydration issue, but I guess it could be learned behavior too somehow rather than genetic.
That said, winter IS cold and sleepy. Although it's cold outside, inside your winter gear it's perfectly fine. And walking around a snow-covered forest when all the leaves are gone and the full moon is out is like walking through a dream - until the wolves start howling of course, then it's a bit more like a nightmare.
