>>1597170Normally it depends on the temperature. There's an R-value that can be applied. When in doubt, you can just use more than one pad stacked up. Even a foam yoga mat will be better than nothing, but anything will be better than a thin yoga mat. Thicker/higher R-value = better. Close cell foam will be best since it won't get water logged, so make that a selling point. As far as which style to use, folding vs rolling up, that will be your decision. Roll-ups will have even temperature transfer while folding ones will have gaps were they lose some R-value where those gaps are thinner than the rest of the pad and not quite fit together perfectly every time or when uneven weight is applied.
