The M65 is a classic, and cloned in civilian fashion so many times it even keeps your autism concealed. But they're either pure cotton or 60/40 nyco, and the original liner jackets are bullshit-batting and not very warm compared to modern synthetics (while there are thinsulate liners available, you'll pay twice as much for one as you would the field jacket).
The ECWCS goretex parka is a solidly built wet weather parka. Good storm hood, rain channel, zip+snap front, extended buttflap, a handful of pockets on it. My only complaints are that the sleeves are hella long for most people and the cuff closure isn't very weather resistant. Spend the extra few dollars and get one in good condition, soldiers are hard on gear and I wouldn't trust abused goretex. Should run around $60 for one either very gently used or new-in-plastic.
The gen3 layer 7 is a Primaloft insulated puffy. Elastic+tab cuffs, zip front, EXTREMELY warm, handwarmer pockets, still fairly light. Much more durable than ultralight down puffies, I'd guesstimate the outer fabric is something like 240D. Cheapest I've seen one's like $80 though.
