>>16011615: A hammock is a very lonely, single-person, camping shelter. Soloing your life isn't recommended and such isolationist philosophy is a detriment for you and society as a whole. Also, if you've ever tried using a 2 person hammock or tried fucking in one during a rain storm I can assure you it is a pretty tedious endeavor. It can not be used in as many environments as a normal tent can be used without extra equipment.
Multi-tools have several things going wrong. The first is that they try to take the place if multiple tools yet fail to perform any one of those tool's jobs very well. A Jack-of-all-Trades is a master of none, after all. Another problem is the tempering of the metal for these tools. Due to poor manufacturing processes and poor design the metal is normally not properly tempered and can easily snap under what would be normal use stresses with a dedicated tool of the same type. This is why so many of the multi-tools have their pliers and hinges broken.
Any location where you can wear sandals you can also go barefooted. This is because while sandals do protect the bottom of your feet they do not protect anything else. Anything they protect you from on the bottom will inadvertently cause you problems either on the sides or actually get flipped up into the sandal by the other foot. You are much better off with complete protection.
These reduce mobility anywhere outside of flat ground, standing, and at walking speeds. If you need to balance out backpack weight then there are far better ways to do that while still giving you speedy access. Oh, and like thick glasses, these are the height of incel fashion.
You need to ask yourself, "for what innawoods reason would I need a pair of fingerless gloves?" After all, the parts of your hand that see the most wear and cold are your fingers. If you've used so few tools in your life that you do not have any callouses, you should wear normal gloves. They are easy enough to take off and put on.
