I have a serious question for deer hunters. Why do people obsess over getting the biggest buck? In my opinion the younger the animal, the better tasting the meat. Also rack points aren't always associated with animal size. Also the doe population is always huge, and I understand the whole concept of low male high female, but why not take a doe if you have a tag instead of spending days waiting for a buck? These are legit questions from somebody who has never hunted deer before and am considering doing it for food in the oncoming years.
