Best Texas swimming spot is in my opinion Jalapeño Gondolas. Nice 50ft tall waterfall there, absolutely breathtaking Ceñepaco Streams. Even some grassland about a mile south to it.

If you're lucky you'll see some Instagram thots, and if you're good looking they will be 100%down to fuck. Godspeed anon.

Lost Maples isn't exactly centex, but it has some good hikes and camping. The leaves will start to turn there soon, it's a good place to explore.

Enchanted Rock, lost maples, mickenny roughs, all of these are good. I've lived in Central Texas most of my life, but I prefer big bend to anything this region has to offer. Stay out of Austin though, the tendyness of the outdoors lifestyle has ruined the area

Been to all of those. They were all overrated. Enchanted falls in particular. I took a shit in the waterfall while I was there just to spite the place, it was so bad.

Move north and go to Vermont instead. Thd most beautiful maple forests, holyfuck.

Ive spent my past 2 birthdays camping at Garner State Park. The water is crystal clear and you can rent a kayak, do some fishing, decent hiking, and there's at least one small cave. The retarded thing is that at TX state parks you can't have open alcohol containers so if you want a beer or whiskey you have to pour it inside your tent into a cup then come out of the tent

Peaceful and had white pine tree lined trails. Sandy path. Walked bout 4 miles of it barefoot. Care, gator country.
Pedernales is great, wished we had a chance to do Big Bend. Enchanted is a Geologic wonder, do a sunrise up there.
