Big Bend has always been a big interest to me but its a long drive and its annoying that you have to plan so far ahead to get a chance to camp because of vacationers.
Although i havent been, Lubbock seems to have some beautiful grand canyon like terrain. I plan on doing alot of hiking up there once i move to denton for school in August. super excited for this.
