Does out use chest rigs or radio harnesses? What set up do you use? I'm thinking about getting a modular chest rig for flexibility, but they're a bit too larpy for me. What does out think?

I have a radio harness... used it once or twice. I got it as a freebie from my dealer with a large order.
Mine's just a basic one - spot for a radio (adjustable for larger radios and smaller radios, which is a plus) and one small pocket.

For radios, i'd rather use a remote speaker-mic on my shoulder than the harness.

hill people gear has some pretty popular rigs that look pretty non-larpy compared to wearing five mag pouches on your chest. they're expensive, though. you can rig your own using a t&t pouch from condor, for example.

i don't use one but i've been thinking of rigging one for fishing

I need to stop posting after a few beers. The giant admin type pouches are great for around camp. Drop your main pack off and use your chest system to hold your map, compass, life straw, firearm, etc. The 90 degree table it makes is great for when you're hiking, dont want to pull off your pack to retrieve a map. Even put a small tablet in it when it's open, this allows you to watch your favorite YouTuber while going hands free.

I have the exact same chest rig, I just use it for jogging though.

I experimented with chest rigs for hiking, because there are many potential benefits, but in the end, I ended up with attaching haversack up front, very comfy and easy to take off.
I was about to take some pics.
