/out/, my city just fixed the street light by my house that's been dead for ages. It lights up my room like a Christmas tree, not to mention my star gazing ability. I did the right thing and tried to contact the council for months albeit no reply. I know this is dumb but I have decided to take it into my own hands. Any suggestions on how to disable this light post safely other than a pellet rifle or sling shot? Should I buy rubber gloves, rubber shoes, unscrew the blue wire connector screws on the white/black wires and insulate the wires with electrical tape, or unscrew the black tube? This is how it looks inside the access panel.
