>>1609078I'm developing a bad habit of drinking way too much when I get back from the mountains. I just can't stand being back around exactly what you said, the gormless, noisy mess. When I got into Denver after being in the mountains for 10 days I just paced around the city untill I found a bar quiet enough bar to drown my sorrows in. It felt right at the time but I sure wished I hadn't drunk so much when I was on a super bumpy flight back home. It was a hard time keeping my breakfast in my stomach. I kept having these sweaty day dreams of the plane crashing and all I could think is 'I don't want to die with a hangover'.
Also I'm pretty horrid to people when I first get back to reality. I hate is as being in the mountains is supposed to chill me out and make me better, but for the first week when I am home I'm just an irritable mess.
