>>1612559>Do the (white) Canadians differ among the provinces and territories in terms of culture/personalities/customs/dialectQuite a bit actually.
>BC: Mainly English heritage with a lot of American influence. Further inland/north is more Scottish and Norwegian and less American. Fairly recreational culture with most people leaning left politically.
>Woodland Alberta: Mainly Scots-Irish with bits of Norwegian and French. Mainly blue collar culture except for around tourist towns. People here are generally tradesman or ranchers with a strong right political lean.
>Prairie Alberta/Saskatchewan/Manitoba: Basically just Dutch, Mennonite, Hutterite, Ukranian and Polish. Super agricultural and not as zany as the rest of Canada. People here care mostly about doing their job and not much else. Fairly strong right political lean
>Northern SaskatchewanSame as woodland Alberta but with more Indians. Plenty of unemployment and people generally care less about politics
>Northern Manitoba:Exclusively Indians.
>Ontario outside the GTAMore your stereotypical Canadian. Ethnically fairly mixed but primarily Scottish. Politically fairly mixed but slightly socially conservative.
>GTALiterally hell
>Quebec City and MontrealExtremely patriotic but only to their province. Will probably spit on you if you're from England. Ethnically CANADIENNE TABARNAK DU CALICE. Politically very left leaning.
>The rest of QuebecChill Frenchmen, still mainly loyal to their province but with a more typically Canadian temperament. Politically very mixed as they vote for whoever seems best for the Quebecois.
>NewfoundlandA bunch of Irishmen got left on an isolated rock for 400 years. Easily the friendliest and hardest to understand when they speak. Don't tell the Quebecois but Newfies probably have the most unique culture in Canada. Politically whatever, they don't really seem to care most of the time. You'll find plenty of them in Alberta since there aren't any jobs on the east coast.
