I have 6 months off. I'll be living in a cheap country with passive income. I'd like to try and be as self sufficient as possible, keeping in mind I won't own land. I have no skills. What would be at the top of your list to learn?

Listen, you need to invest in a CD where you can live off of the interest. I'd absolutely recommend you develop a skill that could help you. Join IBEW or become a plumber. You wont become self sufficient without skills. Live an inexpensive country home or even a mobile home. You can get internet from a 4g box you pay monthly by buying cards for it like the international calling cards. Keep in mind expenses you'll have like health, insurance, car, so forth.
