Any scenario that denies technology energy on a massive scale is probably shtf.
The most plausible at the moment is an Iranian and Saudi War, with strikes by the Iranians using cells to Target American Oil refinery output. It would need to be an extended conflict though. If ends quickly the system will easily handle it with reserves and non involved production
