>>1615452There's no wilderness or anything like that, and all hills/mountains have literal stairs cut into them (I have noticed that Chinese people are incredibly bad with uneven terrain, used to see them fall all over the place on the mountains back in Ireland), but the positives are that you can literally get a metro to a national park and back, it's clean and safe, and you're within easy reach of Vietnam/Yunnan/Malaysia if you want to do some more serious hiking.
