Week ago i managed to save this toboccan/sledge whatever it is in english from trash, it was in really sorry state.
I had never worked with fiberglass before but it turned out to be pretty easy in the end and i learned something new.

Have to change those linelocks for better ones because they will surely puncture the fabric whitch was the most expensive part.

Can someone with experience tell me did i make a mistake when i choose aluminium for the pulling poles.

That's nice work. If you spray the outside thoroughly with five or six coats of PVA followed by a good gel coat, you can lay more fibreglass on the outside (three or four good layers) then when you pop it off you'll have a working mold of your sled. You can then put five or six layers of PVA in the mold, a coat of gel coat then three or four good layers of fiber glass. When you pop *that* off, you'll have a brand new sled. Keep the mold and you can turn one out every couple of days and make some /out/ cash.

I don't know what new sleds sell for where you live, but where I am the materials needed to fix it would be about 1.5x the cost of a new one. And since you said it's your first time working fiberglass I'm assuming you didn't already have batt and resin on hand.

On a scale from "you're definitely gonna die" to "you'll save yourself 300$" how retarded is the idea to make a gasoline stove myself?

Has anyone did something like this before? I'm not sure how to figure out exact construction; just getting some gasoline and experimenting seems like a very bad idea.

The thing with these types of stoves is they often rely on a pretty delicate balance, size of orfice, tubing, distances between everything. Probably moderately easy for the handy to make a working version but making one that can withstand use and abuse outdoors is a whole other challenge. If you're actually going to rely on it it will not be anywhere as reliable as a commercial model. Not like a foolproof alcohol stove
