A washing machine just fucked up my favorite winter knit hat I used for hiking because my roommate wanted to be nice and wash my hat with his shirts. The hat was dear to me and I am a bit upset that I lost it.

It was a hat made in Nepal and was full wool and inside had some kind of material so that the wool did not scratch your ears, which was really good since all the wool hats I previously had just scratched too much.
Please help.
