I'm in need of a new hunting/camping knife and I've heard good things about the Morakniv Kansbol, I'm wondering if any of you have one and if you would reccomend it?

I can recommend it - it's light, has a very comfortable handle, thin blade, and even thinner at the tip - that funky grind is actually really good (it's not "magical" good, but it does combine the advantages of having a scandi grind near the handle, and a thin blade FFG near the tip).

nah, at that point he should be looking at that condor. Kansbol is a really nice, modern take, with things like a lanyard hole, lightweight construction - makes a great pack knife.

If I was looking for something nice, I'd go for a classic like pic related.
