Good day /out/.
I'm from the Netherlands, a small European country with a relatively high population density.
I am curious about hiking so to get a feel for walking through nature, I strolled through the local woods for a few hours. This was nice, but it was also a bit boring (very flat terrain) and I kept running into people. Now these woods aren't very big, and I'm sure they are not meant for hiking, but I have nothing else close by.
How do I find good hiking routes that are challenging but also secluded? Maybe I am bad at using Google but I keep getting well-known parks, tourist spots, or grandma-tier routes.
