>start going down a youtube rabbit hole of mountain biking videos despite never having interest in actually going
>think "oh maybe i'll try that one day but it looks expensive"
>watch a video where a guy was hyping himself up to do a jump he was scared of and started saying some motivational bs about how life is short and we gotta take the jump
>realise that I might not be able to try mountain biking in the future
>say fuck it and grab my mom's old bike she stores in my garage
>turns out theres a diy spot right near my house
>all of the jumps are big n scary
>decide to try and make my own
>end up making a shitty A-Frame out of rocks and driftwood nearby
>have some of the most fun i've had in a long time
is this what it's like to have fulfilling hobbies? anyone else discover a hobby in a weird way like this?
