I want to get into traditional archery but I'm confused about stringers. The Longbow I have decided to purchase is 72". Yet all the "recurve/longbow stringers" on Amazon for example are only 60-something inches long...
I found this but I don't understand how the fuck those cup looking things aren't going to just fly downwards along the curve of the bow:

Anybody got a huge ass longbow around 72"? What stringer do you use? thanks in advance. nb4 stringers are for fags. I don't want to fuck up my bow or myself.
