Post pictures of where you guys fish. Pic Related California Aqueduct. I hate it.
Any tips on catching stripers and carp. I usually use anchovies but I'm exploring hard and soft baits.

i usually surf fish for stripers in NJ/NY/NC and from the surf, if you can spot a feeding frenzy, and large swimbait will do, I always use bombers, yellow and black are best. for bait, like herring are great.

Probably beats whats around me. Closest freshwater is piece of shit alondra park, every other lake and whatnot are an hour away. Other than that its ocean.

I know that feel bro, I live on an island off NC and even our lakes and ponds are too salty for freshwater fish, I have to drive hours inland for real freshwater fishing.

At least I have the inlet/ocean

I fish in Rhinelander, Wisconsin mostly. Wisconsin River, Lake Tomahawk, Rainbow Flowage, and man smaller lakes.

This is actually a smaller lake called Chickadee Lake. The beautiful part of it is it's owned by a Summer Camp that never uses it. It has a trail that winds around it with 4 different camp sites around it.

One of the best kept secrets and fishing is amazing, best part is it boarders my land.
