>>1641130I gutted it completely, I used a combination of insulation on the walls, doors (thinsulate sheets are fucking based but expensive). The fiber glass top is not insulated, I did this to combat mold. I have pretty decent climate control fan, I also DO NOT use the heater core it's disconnected because I'm not a little bitch and I like it cold, and because I have no reason to install a new core. My girlfriend and I clean surfaces every few days, and my ceiling has a void which combats condensation.
I've spent nights as cold as 5* in it and with decent ventilation I don't have condensation issues, and I stay cozy with another warm body and wool blankets.
Currently I'm heading south for the rest of the winter, and then west in early January. Mold is easy to combat with a few tricks, and good ventilation. My water system also doesn't freeze very often (not sure why, but I did use soft lines and a rubber foot pump incase my water does completely freeze, hasn't yet. I usually keep a window open, as to assist in venting.
The clothes section in the back (seen in the previous photo) is the only part of the ceiling which is insulated, we purely did it for aesthetic reasons, as the thinsulate is great for building headliners.
Also shitting in buckets is basically living the life. I love this shit. I'll post a few more photos of my vessel
