Do any of you guys ever do drugs while camping. I feel like acid is made for camping. Going camping this weekend in mild conditions (3c) on my own and planning to take acid. Any tips for not dying aside from don't do drugs?

I have a tab of acid i have been saving for months for a special occasion might just save it for my first time camping very interested in hearing other anon's experiences with acid in the wilderness

Have someone who's not on acid with you. Don't be a retard. Also don't run or jump off of ANYTHING at all, don't look down cliffs, don't climb too high, don't do much of anything aside from observe, basically. Become Gondola.
Also don't try to talk to the aliens because they'll run away or just ignore you, but the spiders are usually cool and you can talk to them and they'll crawl all around you in a friendly way. They're friendly spoders. The spiders might have been DXM. I don't remember. Shadow people are cool too but fleeting. Be honored if you get to see a shadow person up close but they're not talkative

Op here, I've done acid alone while camping before but mainly just stayed around the campsite and it was only a half tab, got a good fire going and it was pretty cozy brought my dog with me too. Pretty experienced with acid too

Have climbed one time with mushrooms. I was part of nature. The rocks 'showed' me where I had to place my hands and feets. Not to much thinking or fears.
The cold waterfall felt like a experience, shivered like a child. But enjoying the experience. Not the normal hate of the cold.
Didn't know if I still could swim. But even the water greeted me.
At the end the weather changed. But we where safe under a tarp. Normally you hate it when a beautiful day ends in rain. I watched in awe and admiration.

Best trip ever.
I was that moment one with nature. Felt how old everything was.

Later trips weren t that nice. Trees are not that friendly.

Personally, I only really like using psychedelics if I'm going to spend most of my time outside hiking or camping. At the same time I've tried to stop using them, because I don't care what anyone says, they're not good for your mental health if you use them too frequently.

Nobody has claimed that they are good for you if you use them frequently, what a stupid way of putting it. You truly need the brain of a goldfish if you end up using psychedelics more than a couple of times a year. Some people just use them to get a buzz which is absolutely retarded. Drink a little or smoke a joint for that, but leave all of the more effective substances for special occasions.
I fucking love mushrooms, but the last time I took them was over 2 years ago. You need to go trough each an every trip in your head completely before redosing you mong.

don't bring guns or knives. Have a safe secure spot to hunker down if you need to. Car or truck is good. Don't be afraid. Don't wander around too much. Drink lots of water.

If you take an SSRI class antidepressant, like Lexapro, Prozac or related, they end DMT/LSD/psilocybin/MDMA trips with no sedation or side effects (serotonin syndrome is a common mistaken belief, it does not occur because the SSRI knocks the hallucinogen off the binding site competitively).

It will make your thinking clear again and end a bad trip and reduce post-trip negative side effects.

I've never tried psychedelics but I'm sure you've heard the term "opens your mind" or similar. I imagine that it makes the whole experience more immersive. Staying at home and playing videogames is "enough" for me. I go out and do things in order to enhance my experience, and drugs are just another way to do that.

I do a ton of drugs, mostly psychadelic. Just let someone know where you're going and when you plan to be back. Bring a fuck ton of water. Have fun and just generally try not to die. Oh, and if you get the bad thoughts, do not act on them, but I'm assuming you've dealt with acid before and can handle yourself. You can, right?
Oh, and maybe make camp, collect/cut firewood, and really do anything else necessary to your survival BEFORE you drop a tab. Shit gets wild afterwards.

Advice people don't often tell other regarding psychedelics is you should not only have a trip sitter but it's also handy to have some sort of benzo, preferably a Xanax bar. It will bring you down real quick if stuff gets bad and simply having it available helps keep your mind more at ease. Fear of having a bad trip is not good.

I know someone who claimed to of had serotonin syndrome from mixing acid and ssri antidepressants. Mono oxidase inhibitors or MOAIs with psychedelic drugs are also common causes for serotonin syndrome. Benzos are the only "safe" option for ending a trip.

How experienced are you? And also maybe do it with a friend who is sober. It's not going to make you believe you can fly but most of your sense will be distorted. Time and space will flow oddly, how you perceive light will be different too. Things like hot and cold, taste etc will also be different. Also mood might be affected also, for example, i will shift from optimistic and excited to sad and scared if i walk from a light area to a dark one. Sometimes i feel completely at peace in the dark and anxious when it's bright out. Point being psychedelics can be a wild ass ride if you haven't built up the experiences yet.

Beer, weed and booze are pretty much required for camping but I’ve done acid (a 1/2 hit) several times while camping back in the day and it was fun, though a buddy had a minor freak out moment once after we had come back from a wood run where were driving thru the woods laughing and such only to come back to camp where the combination of the light from camp fire and sitting around made him feel kinda weird, so we took a walk outside of camp and hung out for a bit watching the stars and he felt better after that.

Benzodiazepines are much less safe because they induce sedation.

SSRIs do not induce sedation and they do not cause serotonin syndrome either because they bind competitively to the receptors and knock the hallucinogens off them.

Benzodiazepines do not completely END the mental effects of tripping like SSRIs do.

I'm not suggesting you take MAOIs with hallucinogens but harmine and harmaline are two MAOIs found in plants taken commonly with DMT to make them orally active.

The effect of MAOIs would not be (AFAIK) to cause serotonin syndrome but to make things like DMT that otherwise need to be snorted or smoked psychoactive under oral administration.

Again, not suggesting MAOIS. But SSRIs will safely end your trips and make you able to DRIVE if you need to in an emergency in 30 minutes or less in a way benzodiazepines cannot. There is no sedation or side effects with SSRIs used just to stop trips.

don't do it your first time camping. camp at a couple safe, secluded camping spots and get the hang of setting up a tent, gear organization, cooking and safety/cleanliness, than choose the best one and do acid there.

I am tempted to get drugs by this method but tge only person i know who did it is doing ten years in federal prison where he is certainly getting fucked. He used to get alprazolam from silk road and press bars and selk me 500 at a time for .75 a piece.

Society has too much of a safety net desu. You can fuck up over and over again and keep on living at other people’s expense. We have unemployment subsidies, subsidized housing, food stamps and food banks, Medicaid, WIC, etc. Plus tons of charities run by churches, social clubs, etc.

As long as your IQ is above 65 you will not be homeless unless you have a severe mental problem like schizophrenia or an unmanaged hard drug addiction.

Also, if you are one paycheck away from ruin it’s usually because you’re a retard who spends outside their means. Even as a college student making $13/hr I had 2 months of expenses saved up at all times. I have some sympathy for stupid working class people, but it’s not anyone else’s responsibility to save them from their own retardation. The problem is going to continue and get worse as long as we subsidize self-insufficient people having a ton of children they can’t afford.

Here in the UK we get liberty caps growing wild, but over the last few year when I’ve been out picking I’ll average 1-10 shrooms in a 2-3hr hunt sometimes less (0 yesterday). Instead of growing in small groups I find one and that seems to be it, any idea why this is happening?

See my point about SSRIs above. Anti-depressants like Lexapro fully end your trip in a way benzos can't, without sedation.

SSRIs directly end the hallucinations, benzos just dull them. U can absolutely still trip on downers. You CANNOT still trip on an SSRI.

It completely ends the trip and is not a placebo. These hallucinogens bind at serotonin receptors and these modern antidepressants are just WAY more effective at binding to the same receptors and knock off the hallucinogens.

You can drive in 30 minutes. Sometimes you might need 2 pills, but it will work. Lexapro works best. I wouldn't be telling you this if it didn't work.
