>>1628117I recently experimented with homemade rice cakes (following the GCN recipe purportedly used by professional Tour de France cyclists).
Recipe is: cup of risotto washed, add vanilla extract, sugar, cinnamon, cook for ~15 minutes until right consistency, place into dish, mix in cream cheese and peanut butter, let cool, cut up rice into squares and wrap in foil.
Tastes ok, but I felt myself craving something salty. Next time I will not add sugar, cook rice with bouillon cube, mix in bacon instead of cream cheese and peanut butter.
