>>1630423Banff get's a lot of tourism, but the town has a covenant so you either have to be solid rich to live there or actually do something useful. Lots of foreigners, but they don't live there.

>>1629385Edmonton always was a weird ass city. It's got the parliament but not much else going for it, and had a lot more skeezy neighborhoods than Calgary. If it's not meth addicts, NDP supporting faggots, or brown nosing artsy types, it's Chug's who took the Wetaskiwin taxi into town and are trying to beg borrow and steal for fair back to the rez.
>>1630632It's definitely got room for improvement. I had a good experience because I fractured something that if they didn't fix it right away would have left me crippled for life. I still had to wait 12 hours in emergency for a Xray and then 48 hours of an operation.
My old man did a non-emergency injury, and between getting an MRI talking to specialists, and actually getting his surgery it took 9 months of working in limited capacity, 6 months of recovery, and they fucked the surgery up so he's got partial paralysis anyways.
Sure a private doctor probably would have cost him 9k to get the scans and shit done, even if it had been 20k it would have been worth it.
It's definitely universal, but it's lowest common denominator and anyone who wants a mixed system is considered a fascist because it's one of the countries "Sacred Cows."
>>1630695Almost the same with my home city, thankfully being smaller than the big two and the bitter winters has slowed the trend of people. Traditionally you would be used to seeing the odd Chinese and lots of Philipino's, that said there has definitely been a huge increase
