>>1634470Unlike gun laws, most states have at least one retarded nongun weapon banned from carry and many have them banned from ownership. Furthermore, nongun-weapon laws are convoluted as fuck. Heavily pro-gun states are not immune.
For examples:
>AlaskaIllegal to carry, concealed or open, nunchaku, swords, or throwing stars (defined as a knife or other object with more than 1 sharpened point intended for throwing). Valid concealed weapon permit does not exempt these items.
>TexasIllegal to carry, concealed or open, nunchaku, saps/blackjacks, weighted gloves, switchblades (legally undefined but in practice OTF automatics), slung shot, weighted ropes, gravity knives, balisongs/butterfly knives, metallic knuckles, or martial arts weapons including but not limited to bo staves, 3-section staves, sais, shuriken, nunchuks (yes this is illegal in 2 different places under the law, no I'm not sure if they realize nunchaku and nunchucks are the same thing), ninja swords, blowguns, blowdarts, rope-darts, and throwing spikes. Illegal to carry concealed knives with blades over 4" without valid CCL. CCL does not apply to weapons other than knives and pistols.
>note: It is specifically legal to open-carry swords in Texas, meaning that having the provision for "ninja swords" (which are undefined) means they have 2 directly contradicting laws>AZIllegal to carry, concealed or open, "martial arts weapons" (undefined), saps, blackjacks, slingshots, slung shot, weighted ropes, weighted chains, weighted gloves, metallic knuckles, switchblades, automatic knives, gravity knives, balisongs/butterfly knives, blowguns, envenomed/poisoned weapons, venomous animals, swords, throwing knives, or throwing spikes. Illegal to carry concealed knives with blades over 4" except with valid CCL. Illegal to own, purchase, or import pneumatic knives, ballistic knives, and knives made out of non-metallic materials including but not limited to ceramic glass stone or porcelain (unenforced)
