learn to whittle tools and other stuff, spoons, keepsakes for your loved ones, pipes, flutes, tool handles, walking sticks
Im usually just doing something with the stuff I find out
most recently I made two pipes, one from bamboo and one from beech
my next project are 2 longbows and 2 shortbows I'm making from an ash tree I felled with a shitty little saw and a hatchet on my great-uncle's property
making your own equipment is great, it gives you a real sense of accomplishment and giving things you made yourself to others is also really nice
