Got 2 pairs for hiking (also wearing them casually, for gardening, walking the doggos etc)
>Lowa Renegade LLMostly for summer/on-trail/lighter hikes. No Goretex so they're more breatheable, but not very waterproof. Reasonably lightweight (1.4kg the pair). Cost me around €150
Downside: Inside heel leather is not very durable, see
>>1623809>Haix TibetFor colder temps and more serious, off-trail or alpine hikes. More waterproof and also quite tall (33.5cm) which makes them good for crossing small streams and dealing with deep snow or strong rain, also very warm when coupled with thick merion socks (it rarely drops below -10°C here so I don't need heavier gear). Somewhat heavier (2.3kg) but it's not much of a problem for me, I only notice some difference after doing >30km or so. Paid €235
I'm not too strict about the usage scenarios, there's a lot of overlap where any of the pairs will work just fine
