Is 18.4lbs a good weight for a loaded pack excluding food?
My pack currently weighs 18.4lbs, this is with two pairs. Jeans, two shirts, two pairs of underwear, two pairs of socks, Pan for food, portable wood stove (biolite, can’t have non-raised fire pits in the park I’m going to) sleeping bag and sleeping pad.
Also there’s hygienic items but those don’t weight a lot, max 300g
I am doing my first thru hike and I’m worried about getting a sore back and not being able to enjoy it. I’m prepping now because the minute after the grass is visible in the spring I’m going.
The hike is going to be total 3 days long
