>>1649226Moose should leave your tent alone unless they perceive it as a threat. Getting stepped on once or twice still counts as being left alone. You should not get out of the tent to confront the moose, or try to tell and scare it off. If you succeed in scaring a moose, it will not run off, it will kill you.
The taller your tent the more likely they are to consider it an obstacle they can't walk over. You can also arrange your camp such that they would be more likely to avoid your low tent by putting your tent where its snowing for the moose to go and praying for the best.
Moose attacks are not common, you'll probably be fine even if you take no precautions.
