Hey guys,
So in a couple of weeks I will be finding myself with a small amount of money ($2,500) and I have decided that I want to get the fuck /out/ of my little bubble here in Melbourne, Australia.
I am wanting to go somewhere quiet and where capitalism is not the main objective of day to day life.
Will I need a working visa or would it be at all possible to find a place where I can exchange work for food and a place to stay?
I'm thinking Europe so far, but I don't know that I'll even have enough money to get there.
Maybe South America, such as Lima or Belém.
I am 21 and have never been overseas but having said that, I am capable and self sufficient.
Have any of you guys done shit like this before? Just up and left your sector for something entirely different?
PS, How far do you think $2,500 will go in the scheme of things?
