Anyone here from Montana or lived there? What is it like living in that kind of rustic, outdoors oriented environment? I'm strongly considering moving there when I get out of the Army because I love the outdoors and I love the solitude of it. Is it a good place to raise a family?

I want to remain in the U.S. but in Montana so I can be as isolated from the government and the mainstream shitshow as possible while still getting service benefits. Would live in Alaska but the gigantic lumbering mosquitoes are a massive turnoff for me. From what I can tell Montana doesn't have the same bug issues but I could be mistaken.
