I grew up in a very rural were farming/hunting/fishing was the way of life. I've always wanted to be able to hunt a deer or bag some duck, or even catch a fish and cook it for myself/family, but actually thinking of killing an animal just doesn't sit right with me. When I see a deer in the wild I'm instantly stunned by its beauty and freedom. I don't want to end its life, Ive always loved animals and nature. Is there anyway I can hunt and fish while still respecting the animal I kill? Is there anyway to get over this? Obviously many people learn to get over this from a young age, but I can't stand the thought of killing an innocent animal. Advice /out/?
