So I like to take my dog camping, but she's a short hair boxer/pit mix so she doesn't have a lot of natural insulation, and shivers a lot in winter especially at night. Anyone have experience with dog snow wear? The only thing I find in stores are the cheesy sweaters that are mostly for toy dogs, and don't provide much insulation.

Additionally, I've been training her to sit in my kayak, trying to get her ready to do a week long kayaking trip with me. She's fine when it's in my back yard, but she is too scared to get in when I try in the water. She like playing in water but doesn't like it to come above her belly. Anyone else train their dogs to be comfortable kayaking/canoeing?
