Whats the dumbest thing you've done lately? Me and a couple of mates climbed Ben Vorlich today...50mph winds, low visability and snow up to my balls. Thought we were going to die at one point. Good times!

This spring went way off trail, got disoriented and realized I had no map, compass or gps. I sorted it out by bushwhacking in the direction of a road I knew would be there but the whole thing was stupid and unnecessary.

We were only really a few miles from where we parked the car but fuck me, when you're actually crawling up a fucking scree slope at -13° it really puts things in perspective. Theres alot of munros in Scotland that I wouldnt dare do in bad weather purely for the fact youre 10 miles from your motor before you start to climb and out at those distances you dont know where the fuck you've came from. Our tracks in that snow today covered up rapid...like in 30 minutes. Shit was wild. Loved it though, pure white mans game that shit

Tried to summit Katahdin in late Summer on what ended up being a rainy day wearing nothing but cotton. No rain shell or even a windbreaker. Got absolutely soaked and almost went hypothermic. We had to turn around about half way up and try the next day.

got high and went walking back when i used to smoke and the same thing happened to me, i could faintly hear the main road when i walked one direction but theres something so eerie when you lose all sense of direction, your mind starts playing tricks on you

I forded a couple large rivers in full flood, before I realized just how dangerous that can be. I forded the river below Fox Glacier in NZ a couple hundred yards from where two Japs had been swept away a week previously, as I learned afterwards. Won't be doing that again.
