Me and my girlfriend want to hike the entire Appalachian trail. My concern is safety. How do you stay safe from people trying to hurt, steal or abduct you on the trail? What about staying safe from creatures innawoods? How do you avoid or prevent those things? I just want to stay safe and hike the whole world with my girl but I always hear stories of hikers being lost or abducted. How do you stay safe when out for months at a time?
