A small caliber rifle like a .22 can bag prairie chickens and deer. Something larger, like a .30-06, .30-30 or 303 are cheap and more than able to take down large game. Its a lot of work skinning, quartering, packing, smoking and storing but extremely satisfying.

Credit cards, rent, mortgages, student loans all scams. You dont need a giant mcmansion to leave empty while you hop in that $70,000 vehicle you need to get to a job on time to pay for said vehicle and house with a fridge full of more condiments than actual food. You also dont need fancy gear queen knifes and boots. Make some moccasins or muk-luks out of that moose hide.
Finding or creating a job while hermit for disposable income is easy. You have nothing but time. Try and reframe from booze or drugs. Time and money sinks that could be put to better use.
