I live in Western NC in the heart of the mountains. I'm looking for some insight into what would be the best camo to wear during the Spring and Summer. I was thinking either Atacs-FG, Flecktarn or Multicam. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Recently moved to jacksonville and looking to get /out/ for a week come April. I kinda want to do a base camp with the truck and day hike and explore sort of deal. I've been looking at Pisgah, but I'd like a locals opinion. Much thanks.

I live in an area methheads can't afford. Just me and a few other yuppies that cashed out their homes and condos elsewhere and don't work anymore. I enjoy the natural beauty and tranquility. I was also sick of the diversity and "cultural enrichment" of South Florida.

You overestimate the crime in Ashe county. The road to my residence is gated and I own guns too. I have been here for six months and haven't had any problems. The fact that you put so much emphasis on 401ks shows me that's all you know about. Have fun living paycheck to paycheck your entire life and working into your 70s or 80s. If you're in the higher elevations of the Appalachians, I'd go with Flecktarn. That's just my opinion based on elevation and warm weather foliage in the mountains of West Virginia.
