I can't speak for what you personally believe in or classify as "tradcath", but I've noticed that the medieval-era Catholics of the crusades are VERY much so idolized on this site. If that is what "tradcath" is, then that is frankly hilarious. For a large portion of history, the Catholic Church absolutely abused its power as one of the largest (THE largest at some points) political, military, and economic institutions in the world. This is all because of papa infallibility.
You may be able to call yourself a Catholic and deny papal infallibility and universal jurisdiction, but there's nothing traditional about doing so. The "traditional" Catholics that are glorified here were the very same ones that sacked the largest Christian city in the world, which lead to the terminal decline of the largest Christian empire in the world, which lead to the largest Muslim invasion of Europe in history.
