went twice. First time was without the scoutmaster b/c we had 3 crews running and he's old (I was in the middle crew, he was in the youngest) and it was my best experience in scouts, other time was with the scoutmaster and was a little worse because of it but still fun. if anybody could ruin it he could and it was still great despite him so you'll probably have a great experience. pack light, eat as little mexican food as possible(freeze dried Mexican gives you the shots) and don't skip any activities.

in the south central area, there's a set of camp sites just at the start of the Tooth of Time trail. Very excellent views.

This was the best place I stood in the entire place. Beautiful sun-bleached trees, wild flowers. Take some time to bring one down to the grave in Baldy Town if you get up that way.
