This is common outdoors wisdom.
Keep the organs warm, and by circulation of blood you'll have warmer blood in arms and other extremities. This ain't a hat, but my guess is it would work as well or better than a hat (best results are combined with a hat).

That said, fuck this new agey shit just build a fire and enjoy some pine needle tea you fucking onions.

Dunno about that one but the ones that run off of the 20v DeWalt drill batteries are nice as fuck. 1.5 AH battery lasts ~9 hours.

The Milwaukee lineup is sweet too, and they have battery powered gloves as well. Ridgid just released jackets as well.

Plus it gives you an excuse to buy some new power tools so the expensive batteries don’t sit there all summer.
