Cold steel machetes, I have the cutlass style one. Its a bit cumbersome with the sheath but its superior to anything Ive used for getting sawgrass and palmetto's out of the way.

ive been using pic related - a replica of late iron age seax from the Baltic region. It was custom made by one of the best knifesmiths in Europe, so the quality is superb. Very comfy and I much like the fact that it has a corner on the edge, rather than it being round as on a simple machete.

Mora Katana is what I have been using. The back is good for using on my firesteel and you can baton the ever loving dogshit out of this beast. unlike most moras, this badboy is double tanged, so you know its good. just put some blo on the handle every year and your good. you literally dont even need to sharpen it. the more you use it - the sharper it gets. i use this one pictured. when im not out - this is in my kitchen making short work on tomatoes and ground turkey meat. at night it sits by my bed, thirsty.
