>>1682287first map is described as follows
"a hidden and forgotten set of claims worked by an elderly woman from the 1950s until the 1970s. A small track takes off to the east off the Bowron Lakes forest service road. The trail is disused and only visible in patches, follow Pleasent Valley Lake shore into a narrow draw. Bedrock is exposed here with many deep test pits and trenches, however the bedrock is too weak and fractured, no gold here. Continue across the creek, shortly you will come across another set of smaller steams emptying from two narrow draws with old hand workings. Course nugget gold appears here. Its is a coppery green gold in color and well traveled in texture. Gold is found from the surface gravels down 3 ft to bedrock. These workings are likely Chinese, the hand piles are neat and organized."
