>>1685641Camping, not too much. I did a few camps when I was younger and only went on my first one in almost 15 years last June. It would likely be just pulling up in vehicles or walking to our destination and then setting up our tents/hammocks/etc. depending on the place. For hiking, I'm mostly used to short day hikes at the moment. Most I've went was 12km but I've averaged around 6–8. (Losing over 100lbs over the past 1.5 years before last year really helped.)
The only things that I don't have personally is what you've mentioned other than my own utensils and a mug. I do have a couple sleeping bags but they are virtually the same age as me (~30) and needed to put both of them together along with a fold-up thermarest in order to be comfortable. My friends in though had their issued sleeping bags since they are both military.
We all did bring some food though, had some delicious steaks and potatoes over the fire the second night, plus some of the usual hot dogs and s'mores kits because why the fuck not.
