Everywhere I read and study, it seems more and more that every serious outdoorsman carries a .22lr pistol. From crazy murderous woodsmen, to hermits who have adopted the outdoor lifestyle, a .22lr handgun seems to be the firearm of choice for the experienced. What say you /out/? What is your preferred firearm while /out/ and about?
Personally, I am of the belief that a light weight bolt action .22lr rifle and a 9mm handgun serves my hunting needs and my defensive needs just fine. Eurocucks who have no wildlife nor crazy murderous mountain men need not be a part of this thread.
